    SI price format changes

    Hi guys,

have made all the necessary steps as it was described here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/Advisory/Advisory24.php

But unfortunately I have still a weird SI chart. Please have a look at the attachment.

Data provider is Rithmic / AMP.

Any help in this matter would be great.

    Thanks

    Jens

    Hello Jens,

Thank you for your forum post.

Please troubleshoot the SI data by clearing your cached chart data:
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Documents
    • NinjaTrader 7
    • Open the db folder
    • Delete the Cache folder
    • Restart NinjaTrader
    • Connect and re-test SI 09-14

Please let me know if this does not help to resolve the situation or if I can provide any further assistance.

Sorry, but had forgotten to tell you, that I have already made your sugesstions. Nevertheless have deleted the db Cache folder once more - unfurtunately with NO effect.

      Chart looks still strange...

        Hello Jens,

Thank you for the follow up.

You can take this one step further and delete your historical chart data and then re-download this from Rithmic:

Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical chart data:
        • Close NinjaTrader
        • Documents
        • NinjaTrader 7
        • Open the db folder
        • Delete the Tick, Minute, Day and Cache folders
        • Restart NinjaTrader
        • Connect

          Hi Ryan,

hmmm.... after deleting all the historical data folders I got the same picture:

All charts are looking good EXCEPT the SI chart...

          And now?

            Hello Jens,

Thank you for the follow up.

Were you able to reset your instruments after reinstalling?

When you perform an instrument reset, the following actions will occur:
            • User added instruments will not be affected.
            • Any changes you have made to the original instrument settings will be reset
            • Any changed symbol mappings will be reset including changes made for use with the Automated Trading Interface.

            • Disconnect from any data providers.
            • Control Center > Tools > Options...
            • Data tab > Reset Instruments
            • Restart NinjaTrader

If the reset does not help to resolve the SI chart, please send a note to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Ryan L." in the subject line.

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) Your latest log and trace file:
You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
            • The log file will be named "log.20140814.txt"

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
            • The trace file will be named "trace.20140814.txt"
