    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Were the trades past two days ago placed through NinjaTrader on this PC? NinjaTrader would include a report of only those orders which NinjaTrader was open and running at the time of.

In terms of the execution plots being out of whack, can you please tell me where you're seeing the executions reported and where you would expect to see those executions?

So, are the plots stored on the PC that the trade took place?

If so, then if the drive was formatted, all plots prior to the format are gone?

If stored on your HD, can they be pulled from a backup, and if so, what file?

      Thanks.

        Hello,

"So, are the plots stored on the PC that the trade took place?"

        Yes, your understanding is correct.

"If so, then if the drive was formatted, all plots prior to the format are gone?"

        This is also correct.

"If stored on your HD, can they be pulled from a backup, and if so, what file?"

If this data was backed up it can be restored by following the steps outlined here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...up_archive.htm

Please note that this process would overwrite the existing log of orders/executions and would not combine the two logs of orders however. Unfortunately, there is no way to merge two databases logs of orders/executions within NinjaTrader 7.

One last thing...how do I get plotting to stay active permanently?

Now plotting disappears when I move the chart around...plus, I go back to Data Series and plot executions is set to donotplot again.

                  • Data tab
                  • Merge Policy > If not set to "MergeBackAdjusted" then set to this option.

Yes, it was set to "MergeBackAdjusted"!

Also Plot does not stay on, reverts back to DoNotPlot, even though I save Workspace.

Also, this installation of NT is new and recent.

                    Thanks.
