historical data error NG and PL

I have a problem with charting NG 9/14 and PL 10/14 on daily basis. The chart shows a bad tick on 17th June 2014. It shows a much higher price. I cannot correct this price in the historical data manager because this day is not noticed.

    Thank you for your help
    Kind regards

    Hello PowerLobster,

    Thank you for your note.

Can you please provide a screenshot of the chart and bad tick that you are seeing?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file. Click Reply -> Go Advanced -> Click the paperclip icon on the top toolbar

Your charts show a false tick for one day. You need to correct the false data in your historical data base.

        (1) Open a daily chart for NG with the lookback period of at least 3 months. Connect to your daily data provider, right-click on your chart and reload all historical data.

        (2) In case (1) did not work, do the same thing, but make sure that your have set the Merge policy - can be found under Tools -> Options -> Data - to MergeBackAdjusted.

        (3) In case (2) did not work, disconnect and connect to Kinetick EOD instead. Repeat steps (1) and (2). Your chart should now show correct data.

        (4) In case nothing worked, you can edit the historical data base and change the false ticks manually, then save the changes.
