Not able to download the data

    Hello,
I've been trying to backtest one of the automated strategies I developed and for some reason when I run the backtest, it keeps giving me the error message. I've attached the picture of the message. I am trying to test the strategy on ES going back to jan 1, 2012.

Appreciate any insights you can provide and how can I fix this.

    Thanks!

    Hello pandyav,

    Thank you for your post.

This is a message from the NinjaTrader historical data servers. This has been seen in the past as well. Can you advise what time zone and region your PC is set to?

Thank PatrickH, it is set to (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada). Any idea to fix the problem?

          Hello pandyav,

          Thank you for your patience.

There should be no issue with the Time Zone/Region in this case. Please shut down NinjaTrader --> go to the following directory on your PC: (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db --> then delete the 'cache' folder in the 'db' folder --> restart NinjaTrader and run the test once again.

            Hi PatrickH,
Unfortunately, I still keep getting the same error message. Is there anything else that we can try to fix the issue?

            Thanks!

              Hi PatrickH,
Any idea how we can solve the problem? If you want we can set up a remote session for you to have a look at my computer.

              Please advise.

                    Hello pandyav,

                    Thank you for your response.

I am not sure what other items this could relate to. Have you ran all current Windows Updates?
