    Hello Wenutz,

Welcome to our forum and thank you for your post.

Am I correct in understanding that you're connected to NinjaTrader Continuum? If so, with this connection there is no Forex data provided so you will not see any Tick or other data coming in for the instrument you're looking at.

Please see here what exactly is provided by Continuum and other supported providers:

Check under the section 'Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider'

Thank you for your reply Vince
      I did indeed used continuum.

Since I want to paper trade forex, I tried using kinetic to access historical forex chart but I also get a blank page when I select a forex instrument.

How to go about it please?

Apologies for being a total amateur, just not used to your platform yet.

Thanks in advance for your help.

        Hello Wentuz,

If this is the Kinetick End of Day (Free) you will need to use daily data for the charts.

This is an end of day daily data only connection.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

          Cal:
Am having a deuce of a time trying to list SCOK via the Instrument Manager. I have just listed several other Nasdaq stocks without a problem and pretty sure I have all the same boxes marked.
But something just isn't right. (Rec: in future upgrades, simplify the listing procedure it does not seem user friendly!)
          Thanks

            ntfrog,

Are you getting an error message when trying to use the SCOK?

Who are you connected to? This is displayed in the lower left hand corner of the control center.

It turns out I am connected to both Google and Kinetick EOD, both per the bottom left of the control center and within the Instrument Manger itself.

The message (accompanied by the sound of a crashing computer) indicates the symbol is not valid. Of course, I have checked it with other sites and it is valid.

I have checked the box on the front page to change it from default to Nasdaq; which has worked with other symbols. Have also confirmed the spelling on the symbol map page for both Google and Kinetick.

                          Ok, thanks.
I want to be able to use ticks, range and volume charts (and the sets of charts you are offering) what is the most affordable solution out with ninjatrader?
Is there any free data provider that can offer ticks range and volume charts? if not, what is the next most affordable option?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

                            Hello,

No data source offers free intraday data currently. One of the most affordable options to access this type of data would be a subscription with NinjaTrader's preferred data source, Kinetick where you would be able to access this data starting at $55 monthly. Please see the following link to Kinetick for more information: http://www.kinetick.com/
