    not transmitting orders for YM

    Hi
    I have a NT connected to IB. I am able to submit orders properly from NT to Interactive Brokers for CL. But orders for YM are not transmitted to IB. They dont appear at the TWS. There is no error message at NT, just a pended order. And then i cannot cancel the order from NT. The only way it cancels is to disconnect from IB. I have the latest TWS recommended by NT. I have permission from IB to trade YM as i am able to trade the same contract from their TWS.
    I have the same exchange listed in NT as on TWS (ECBOT)

    Thank you for your post.

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)
    What version of TWS are you using? You can check under TWS -> Help -> About -> Scroll to the Build #

    In addition, please send you log and trace files. You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support. Please place the Forum Thread URL in the subject line: "http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/forum/showthread.php?t=68221"

      i was not able to send the log and trace files from NT-- so i sent them by uploading them to a reguar email

          Yes, thanks
          Apparently I did not have the latest version of NT. so i upgraded. I still have the trouble. I am not able to submit orders for YM but I can for CL.

            Hello,

            What is the error message that comes up when you try to submit an order for the YM?

            Also, in your first post you mention that you have the latest TWS recommended by us, can you confirm this is TWS 944.3?

              no error message comes up on NT when the order is placed. there is nothing at all that happens in TWS.
              I do have TWS build 944.3
              In NT the order is listed as a pending order. i cannot cancel it either. If idisconnect from TWS, it warns me that i have an active order (in NT) then it will cancel the order after i disconnect.
              Again, the other contract (CL) works fine.
