Freeze and error on connect

Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

I have no idea what this means, just got started with NT. All help is much appreciated.

Thank you for your post.

Please connect and go to Tools--> Historical Data--> Reload and reload this data.

Also please go to Tools--> Options--> Misc--> Repair DB

I think it is freezing. After following the steps to reload it ends up on the Saving - This request can not be aborted window and just sticks.

What is your data provider? Reloading data (especially tick data) can be time consuming and may require you to just wait it out.

I'm pretty sure whatever was wrong was from me; the first thing I did was play with some historical data commands.

Doing a clean install and making sure to manually wipe the profiles and data stored in My Documents has fixed it.
