[Help][Bug] Strategy menu never opens.

I've been using the strategy analyzer for a couple weeks now and have run into some problems. When I go and try to open the Backtest/Optimizer/Walkthrough I get a bug where the Strategy Menu never opens. I've clicked on the menu, on the backtest buttons and everything, but it never opens up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your post.

If you right click on an instrument from the left list and select either Backtest/Optimizer/Walkthrough do you get the same behavior?

Yes, the same problem occurs and I'm unable to open the menu.

I have also re installed the program to have the same problem.

Thank you for the update.

I would like you to go to (My) Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> templates -> Strategy
Delete any files that you find in this folder and then restart NinjaTrader and try the backtest again

That fixed it! thanks so much, do you know why that may have fixed it?

I run some of these multiple times and want the settings to be the same each time so I use the templates.

If you change some the settings and coding for the strategies it can cause conflict with the template and thus not loading the settings window
