CQG Connection to Data Server Currently Unavailable

    CQG Connection to Data Server Currently Unavailable

    As of around 15 minutes ago, receiving message, "Connection to data server is busy or not available right now. Please try again later."

    Is anyone else seeing this error?

    Hello rcsingleton,

    I haven't experienced an issue with my CQG or Continuum connections but will keep an eye out.

    You may want to try restarting both your modem and PC and try to reconnect.

      I cannot get data for certain contracts some times through Continuum. I have tried another data provider and get the data for the products I trade just fine.

        Hello,

        What instruments are you looking at and is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the control center when you try to bring up these instruments?

        Also, what version do you have installed? Our current release is V7.0.1000.25 which you can check under Help--> About.

            Hello,

            I would recommend that the following steps be taken:
            • Disconnect from your data source.
            • Open the Options menu's Data tab. (Tools > Options > Data)
            • Click 'Reset Instruments'.
            • After resetting NinjaTrader's instrument definitions please restart the PC, modem and router.
            • Finally, restart NinjaTrader, reconnect to CQG and try reloading data for these symbols.
