Manually added data overwritten

There are times when Kinetick EOD is not available/loaded. I manually added the data myself. The chart didn't how the manually added data immediately. So, I did a Reload All Historial Data. The chart still didn't show the manually added data.

When I go back to check the Historial Data Manager, the newly added data is removed. What happened?

How can have the chart display the data (daily data) I just manually added?

Hello Kalim,

If you are manually added in data you will want to disconnect from Kinetick or turn off the property Get data from server (if available) from Tools -> Options -> Data Tab

Either one will request a download and override of the data for the requested time.

It is off for the Get data from server (if available) from Tools -> Options -> Data Tab.

If I disconnect from Kinetick, I cannot Reload All Historical Data. If I don't Reload All Historical Data, the chart will not display the daily data I just manually added via Historical Data Manager->Edit.

Could you please advice how can I have the chart to display the manually added data?

kalim, you could unfortunately not really force this manually added in - have you tried changing the days to load / chart date range as workaround? Would the chart update then with your user supplied values?

Go for example on the main forum page into the suitable sub forum section, i.e. Charting here. Then you find the new thread button directly above the individual thread listings.

Changing the days to load/chart does not work. However, I found a way that works! Just change the daily chart to other time frame, say weekly or monthly, then change back to daily. The new manually added will be shown.
