Missing Volume

Why does volume not come thru on charts for latest day?
This seems to affect the indicator I have created also for the last day?

Also what would cause the latest price data not to come thru on chart?
For example the chart attached is a daily chart which does not have the opening data from 1/10 coming thru on to chart however when you can to 5 minute chart the data then appears but not on the daily chart?

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?

im using 7.0.1000.25 live
im connected to kinetick
the instrument is EXPE ( but it is the same for any stock on NYSE, could be others also)

Thank you for your reply.

Please right click on the chart and select Indicators. Then in the Indicators window select 'Calculate on bar close', set to False and press OK.

When using daily data, the time frame used is set by the data provider.

When connected to Kinetick, stocks listed on the NYSE will use the 'US Equities RTH' time frame. The time frame used is from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM US Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Also, Kinetick will use the settlement price for the close.

When does the daily bar officially close so that you can leave calculate on bar close to true (so not to use so much memory) but still get the latest daily data come thru

Hello fiddy,

This should occur at or shortly after the close of the market.

With US equities, this should be around 4:00 PM US Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
