    Can't import Ninjascript ...

... "You have custom dlls with errors" ... tried compiling an indicator and get these two messages, one relating to Jurik indicators (which I don't have or want) and Woodies CCI (which I don't need):

First Error code is CS0246 (this shows up for 10 different 'Jurik indicators' , when I click for more info they all take me to CS0234 error code. I followed the advice there and it accomplished nothing.

Second Error code: CS0118 which tells me to change round brackets with square brackets ... would have done so except Woodies CCI is not showing up in "Edit Indicators" section.

In fact, I cannot find Jurik or Woodies indicator info/code anywhere in Ninja and I've been looking for over an hour.

Now, I did download a fresh version of NinjaTrader today because of this issue and it did not solve it.
    Please assist. Thanks!

    Hello TakingStock12,

    Thank you for writing in.

It sounds like you are missing a reference. Do these errors mention the "NinjaTrader.Vendor.cs" file in the "NinjaScript File" column?

I look forward to your reply.

      Yes ...

      They all say NinjaTrader.Vendor.cs
Thanks for the amazingly quick reply! Hope we can get this resolved easily.

        Hello David,

        Thank you for your response.

Please compile, then right-click and select "References". From the "References" window, select "Add". Find "NinjaTrader.Vendor.DLL" in the (My)Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> bin -> Custom folder, select the file with a single left-click and select "Open" to add the reference. Click "OK" on the "References" window. Recompile.

Please let me know if this does not resolve the errors.

          Followed your directions ...

... and it worked! Thanks! I do have one more quick question. I've been trying to reload a 3rd party bar type (Felton Renko Supreme bars) ... I believe it is dll type files ... did the normal import ninjascript approach, ninja said import succeeded, then I closed / reopened Ninja but the bar type is not appearing on the drop-down.
          Am I doing something wrong?

            Hi David,

            I'm glad it worked.

In regards to your question, do you have any other custom bar types currently?

I look forward to your reply.

              No ...

... no other custom bar types ... just the standard ones that come with the Ninja platform.
