    NinjaTrader was unable to access the Windows Clip Board to complete this function.

    Hello,

    I'm using ninjatrader for 2 years, but recently I got into this annoying problem when trying to copy paste some drawing objects like line or something it shows this error just after clicking ctrl+C - but this happen only on some objects, while other can be copied, and then it again doesn't work on this other, seems completely random. I of course restarted Ninjatrader not once, it is happening for a week or so. Any advice ?

      No, I saw that post, but I'm using just Windows 7 64 bit + NinjaTrader installed (7.0.1000.22)

        ok, I think it's solved, I got a virtual box virtual machine opened, after I closed the machine it seems that clipoard is working again nicely in NT

          Hi tkaluzny,

          Try restarting your computer.

          Also, I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of NinjaTrader.
          Download

          (I'm thinking that NinjaTrader is having trouble accessing the clipboard and a restart may help. Also, upgrading to the latest version is always recommended and may reset NinjaTrader's ability to access the clipboard.)

                I have done all of this and tried everything, but I still get this message.

                It is very frustrating not being able to copy and paste within the charts. Please help.

                  So that I may further investigate please contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In the message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file.

                  The file is located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I would need the 'trace.20160114.txt' file.
