is it possible for the current price on the chart to be a different color than the y axis labels?

You can do this in one of two ways, by changing the price marker or by changing the color of the axis.
To change the price marker color: Right Click Chart > Data Series > Price marker color
To change the color of the axis: Rick Click Chart > Properties > Color for axis
