Kagi Chart not filling with Price

I was running Market Replay with a Kagi chart and saw that the last traded price moved 3-4 ticks, but the Kagi had still not plotted it. It created a gap between the last traded price and the last price indicated by the kagi chart. I have attached an image to illustrate.

Also, I have a question about Kagi chart line thickness. If the Kagi is thin and price hits the last High price will the Kagi turn thick then or does the market have to break the last high by 1 tick in order to change the thickness of the Kagi?

The Price Marker showing further than the line is expected to happen with the Kagi Bars.

How can I then anticipate false areas where the charts changes from thin to thick and vice versa? Also, is there an option for the Kagi to be displayed using the close instead of the open?

I am not aware of any available methods.

You would need to custom build this logic based on how the Kagi builds its bars into the logic.
