    Feedback and one request

I am a long time Sierra Charts user with MyTrack feed and the latter has suddenly become very unreliable for the ER2 the past couple of weeks often making short term trading impossible from the charts.

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for NinjaCharts as I now have it set up to cover whenever there is a problem with the MyTrack feed, thus enabling me to continue trading.

My one request is for a line on close option. Any chance?

    Thanks.

As opposed to candlestick or OHLC, just draws a line from one close to the next at the end of each period (e.g. every 3m or whatever). Like old fashioned charts I guess.

I think most charting packages offer it as an option - certainly the ones I use. Helps clear a lot of clutter imho.

      Example attached.

      Thanks.

Here is how to do what you want...in chart properties color your up & down bars transparent...then add a one period moving average. Example below.

          Thanks for clarification.

Alfred, way to improvise! I didn't even think of that!

I do the same for Bollinger Bands as well. The indicator at the moment only has the upper and lower band, and doesn't have the median line, so I just add in a 14 day simple moving average (or the same average as the "period" of your BB's) and colour it the same as the Bollinger Band lines. Looks and functions exactly the same as BB's in other charting packages.

              cheers,
