Chart Scrolling

Hello,

To horizontally scroll on a chart you can use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll backwards and forth 3 bars at a time. Is it possible to configure this so you can scroll back and forth 1 bar at a time (possibly by making an adjustment in the Config or UI file)? I would gladly welcome an unsupported solution.

It's a small adjustment that I feel can make a significant impact to my trading in terms of viewing perspective. I'm aware you can arrow key scroll the chart 1 bar at a time, however using the mouse scroll wheel would suit me needs much better.

on win xp.. start -> control panel -> mouse->scrolling ? Adjust scrolling speed?

or in your mouse addon software?

Sledge is correct. You would need to adjust the scroll speed of your mouse in order to decrease or increase the scrolling speed.

Thanks for the replies. Thought that might do the trick as default vertical & horizontal scrolling was set to 3 lines or characters, however adjusting this made no difference to the chart scrolling.

There is no other work around for this.

Use an addon

You would need to use an addon and capture the mouse wheel's "delta", then scroll the window via NinjaScript. It's complicated, but there are some code samples out there if you google this kind of thing you should be able to make it happen.
