    Fall Through for data

    Hi

    I have a subscription to Kinetick for real time data, as well as a NT brokerage account.
    However, I don't have a subscription to NYBOT for Kinetick.

    I want to chart the TF but Kinetick is telling me that the data isn't available; but I can get the data from the NT brokerage connection.

    How do I tell NT to skip Kinetick and go to the next connection (NT Brokerage in this case) to get the data?

    Hello EnsoTrader,

    Thanks for writing in.

    If you connect to NinjaTrader brokerage first all futures will come from NinjaTrader Brokerage and then all equities and forex would come from Kinetick. If you connect to Kinetick first all data will come from Kinetick.
    You could not connect to Kinetick first and then just have TF data come from NinjaTrader Brokerage.

      Hi Brandon,

      Thanks for the quick response.

      When I start NT Brokerage before Kinetick it won't give me the data for ^BANK.

        Thanks for your reply.

        Please disconnect and go to Tools> Account Connections
        Select your NinjaTrader Brokerage account and press Change
        Select Next on the Manage An Existing Connection and General screens
        Uncheck Include Index Data
        Select Next and Finished
        Now when you connect to NinjaTrader Brokerage first then Kinetick all index data will come from Kinetick.

          Hello

          This morning, with the new connection order, the CL 01-15 chart isn't updating.
          The DOM is reflecting price movement, but not any charts.

            Hello EnsoTrader,

            Thanks for writing in.

            What session template have you selected?You can check by right clicking on the chart and selecting Data Series.
            If you open a new chart with no templates or indicators applied with a Default 24/7 session template does it update?
            Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

              Hi Brandon

              This didn't happen until connected to NT before Kinetick.
              The session template is Default 24/7

              Error on log:
              CQG.Adapter.SubscribeMarketDataResolve: F.US.CLE.F00
              also for F.US.GCE.F00, F.US.ENQ.F00, F.US.EP.F00

                Thanks for your reply.

                Please ensure you are on the latest version of NinjaTrader, reset your instruments, and clear your cache.

                To check what version of NinjaTrader you are running go to Help> About
                To upgrade to NinjaTrader version 7.0.1000.26 please follow the link bellow.

                Under Current User paste your license key.
                You can locate your license key under Help> License key
                Select Download NinjaTrader
                Download Version 7.0.1000.26 (Current)
                Before running the installer ensure NinjaTrader is closed.


                Next within NinjaTrader go to Tools> Options> Data> Reset Instruments
                Exit NinjaTrader and open the following directory in Windows
                (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\cache
                Delete the contents within this folder
                Restart NinjaTrader and test

                  My NT was already current, so did the remaining steps.
                  Same result with same messages in Log.
