Error on loading chart data

Hi,

I want to be able to chart some European stocks. The Netherlands, France and Belgium, while using Interactive Brokers data.

I subscribed to:
Euronext Basic Bundle European
(Turquoise) Equities (NP,L1)
German (XETRA) Equities & Derivatives (NP,L1)


If I want to open a chart of a (AEX-Dutch) stock, I get the following error:

Error on loading data for 'FUGR Default': Historical Market Data Service error message: No market data permissions for AEB, BATEEN, CHIXEN, FWB, IBIS, SWB, TGATE, TRQEN STK.

What do I need to do to be able to chart these european stocks?

Hello Paul,

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager. Type FUGR in the Name field and hit Search.

Highlight the FUGR and click Edit.

Assign the Aeb exchange. The Default exchange should already be assigned. Click OK.

Keep the FUGR highlighted. Set Exchange to Aeb.

Click the arrow pointing to the left to add it your instrument list. Click OK.

Create a new chart and select the FUGR from your instrument list in the Data Series menu. Check if data is loaded without error. Do the same for other stocks.

When I load the FUGR stock in TWS, I see it listed for the Aeb exchange, not Aex. The error message you report indicates you do not have data permissions for the Aeb exchange with IB.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the fast reply. I changed the settings; however I still get the error. I checked at IB but I do have a live data subscription.

What else could it be?

Can you please check if you are able to load a chart for the FUGR in IB's TWS.

Do you receive realtime data in NinjaTrader if you select the FUGR in the Control Center-->Orders-tab?

Hi Jason,

I am able to load the chart in IB if I select (Stock selected EAB). Otherwise it won't load if I put it at SMART.

I do receive real time data in NT in the orders-tab window.

Hello Paul,

Can you please go to the Instrument manager once more.

Highlight the FUGR in your instrument list and click the arrow pointing to the right.

Highlight the FUGR in the 'Available master instruments' section.

Make sure Exchange is set to Aeb.

Click the arrow pointing to the left.

Click OK.

Create a new chart, select the FUGR from your instrument list and check if data is loaded. Check if you receive realtime data as well.

Hi,

I was trying to upload all the AEX (Dutch-European stocks) into my NT. But when I search in the instrument manager for example Aegon (AGN) and Ahold (AH), I get no stock.

Do I use the wrong symbols in the master instruments, or do I somehow need to upload them first to the master instrument?

I would like all the stocks in my Instrument list.

Hello Paul,

Unfortunately Dutch stocks are not present by default in NinjaTrader. You will need to create new instruments in the Instrument Manager. You could also import a stock list as per the instructions at the link below.
