Bug: Line shows up on another chart

I draw a line in a chart and it shows up under a different symbol.

It doesn't happen with all symbols, only a few of them. Very strange.

Please see the following screen captures attached:

1- Chart 1 before I draw the line.
2- Chart 2 before I draw the line.
3- Chart 1 after I draw the line.
4- Chart 2 after I draw the line on Chart 1. The line appears on Chart 2 magically.

    Cheers,

      Hi Kyle.

It took me some time to recreate the workspace.

I see the same behavior in a new workspace.

      Cheers,

      -gt

I just sent the email with the files.

          Symbols that have the problem:

          In ASX Income.xml:
          RDV.AX
          VHY.AX
          ^XJO

          In Metals.xml:
          Almost all of them
          SLV
          GOLD
          Etc.

Please double-click the line and check the vertical line properties.

What is the setting for "Attach to:" ?

I followed up with NT support. The behavior is intended. It is not a bug. That is the way NT works.

Exactly, that's what I was thinking ... thanks.

There is actually a choice in the dropdown that says attach to all charts, which would explain OP's behavior ... but there is also an option to just attach to single chart ...

Was curious if OP's problem was caused by their "Attach to:" settings?

                  I presume it was.
