a different market analyzer question
also, I have a total row set in my market analyzer.. purple.. and a few columns have color filters so they change it to green or whatever. But one column with a color filter changes it white. But I have no white colors set up in that column's color filters.
I mean it should be purple because the number doesn't match any colors. But instead it displays white. How can I fix this?

Hello NinjaCustomer,
Thanks for your post.
This would be set up with a Cell Condition.
Below I have provided a link to the Understanding cell conditions section of our help guide.
To look into your market analyzer settings please save it in your workspace and send your workspaces in by going to Help> Mail To Support
In the message include a link to this forum topic
Ensure to check 'workspace and ui files'BrandonNinjaTrader Customer Service

is there something special I must do to get label row colors? I tried adding a label row just now but the color I set in propertties for the label row is not applied. The colors of everything else work fine except for the small problem described in a previous post regarding a cell in the total row.
Also, is there any way to sort the columns of the rows under the label?
my M.A. is like this
[10 rows]
Label
[5 rows]
The 5 rows never change sort order. I have autosort on. The first 10 change when I click on the columns

I figured out the label row color... you have to set it before you add a label row, not after the row exists. Or at least that was in my case.

I seemed to have solved my M.A. problems (except the white total cell color but I can live with that for now)...
The main problem was that I was trying to edit a fairly well populated M.A. in a post news active market with many charts open. So I disconnected and it was quick and easy to edit the M.A. and now label row colors and sorting are working correctly even after re-connecting.
btw. I had one indicator that I wasn't using spitting out a few output window errors. But I don't think it's on any of my charts - at least searching the xml workspace file didn't find it.
Is it possible for some indicators to execute code when they are not actually installed on a chart?
I don't think this was causing the problems. It was only a few errors over a long period of time. Just about that it couldn't connect to the news server.Last edited by NinjaCustomer; 12-04-2014, 11:46 AM.
