    Data feed problem

When I load a second instrument to a chart, it plots the exact same chart as instrument 1. How come?

    Hi Robin

I'm sure one the brilliant Ninja experts will be able to help you here but may I suggest it would useful for them to know:

    - what your main and second instruments are

    - what are the time frames and bar types

    - who supplies your data feed

Hope the issue is resolved soon.

My data feed is Kinetick Real-Time Tick Data.

My chart instruments are NG 01-15 - Bid - 5 Second bars and NG 02-15 - Ask - 5 second bars.

      Thank you!

            Hello robinhenderson1991,

Can you please attach a screenshot of the chart that you have?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file. Click Reply -> Go Advanced -> Click the Paperclip icon

Thank you for your response. As you can see in the screenshots, both bid / ask, as last prices are pretty much the same for both instruments. But if you check, NG 01-15 and NG 02-15 are not equal at all, also Friday's closing price is not correct for the second instrument.

I asked a rather similar question, and NT staff told that Kinetick real time feed only supplies bid & ask data for TICK chart. You are having Second chart, and that may be the reason.

                  Hello,

                  Please try the following:
Open the Options menu (Tools > Options)
In the Data tab, set Merge Policy to 'DoNotMerge' then click OK.
Finally, return to the chart and reload data.
