    IQ Feed

    Starting to see the following error message more frequently. Causing real problems because i can't load any new data now without disconnecting from my broker and IQ Feed

    Thanks for your reply.

    What order do you connect? Interactive Brokers first or IQFeed first?

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Example: 7.0.1000.26)

    * You can check under Help -> About

    What build of Traders Workstation are you using?
    * To verify what version of Traders Workstation you currently have log into Traders Workstation
    * Under Help go to About Traders Workstation...
    * Scroll down and look for Build

    How are you connected to the internet; wired, wireless, 4g, satellite?

      IQ Feed then IB - Using IQ Feed for market data

      NT - 7.0.1000.25 (Live)

      TWS - Always the latest....it's automatic when you log in

        Thanks for your reply.

        Please downgrade to the required build of Traders Workstation (944.3)
        You can download it within our connection guide at the link below.


        TWS does not auto upgrade on my end. I would recommend contacting IB on how to disable auto updates.

        Additionally I would recommend restarting your modem/router.

        With IQFeed being the primary connection these messages should be unrelated to your data as your data is coming from IQFeed and these are IB messages. Do you see any connection lost messages about IQFeed at these times?

          If these are IB messages then it's not the problem.

          I'm going to monitor the logs and will report back in this thread

            Hi,

            944.3 doesn't exist. IB website only provides 3 versions to log into;

            TWS Latest - 948.2b
            TWS - 939.4e
            TWS Beta - 949.0j

            Both TWS versions 939.4e and 949.0j don't allow API connections so that means NT is useless if it can't be connected to IB for execution....!

            Where? Post the link. From what I can see there is no link on this "connection guide" to download TWS....and as i said before the app is run from their website not downloaded locally.

            Now this brings me onto another occurrence of my issue

            I notice that the connection to IB was 'Orange' in the status bar and seen this error in the logs -

            So I stopped the connection to IB and IQ Feed crashes....

            As a result I'm now without NT and IQ Feed, IB is still running with price updates and no apparent issue......

              Thanks for your reply.

              You can find teh download link within the connection guide under Requirements where it shows teh required build and has the Download link in red.
              Below I have provided a direct link.


              Traders Workstation will run locally off your computer.

              First step I would recommend to try to resolve your connection is to exit NinjaTrader and restart your modem/router
              If you have an anti virus/firewall installed please add exception to the NinjaTrader directories.
              You will need to exclude the following directories.
              C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7 or C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7
              (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7
              BrandonNinjaTrader Customer Service

                Downloaded TWS and this is working but then there was never a problem with TWS in the first place so lets see how things go
