    two charting bugs

    Hello,
    Please see the two attached charts.
    The first concerns a continous chart of 6A, the Aussie Dollar. No problem creating a daily chart, but for a weekly chart, the data stops mid-year, six months ago! How on earth can a continous contract just stop like that? It's continous, for crying out loud. It doesn't stop, that's the whole point of a continous contract! Somebody please explain this to me.

    The second attachment is a chart of soybean meal. I'm trying to load the front month, which is January 2015, but NT for some reason is refusing to load something else. No problem with the daily chart, but the weekly and monthly charts throw up this error message. What does it mean, "unknown instrument"? It's just soybean meal, and it creates a daily chart just fine. Please explain.

    Hello Tasuki,

    Can you please send me your log and trace files, so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Jason, two charting bugs' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

      Hi Jason, thanks for the help. I clicked "send" but I got some kind of error message from The Windows Outlook email program, and it wanted a POP server name or something like that. Not sure what that's all about. Important thing is, did you get the info you need?

        Unfortunately I have not received the files. Can you please manually attach the files and send them over. Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Please attach the files in the email.

        Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20141219 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20141219 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        You can send it to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Att Jason, two charting bugs' in the subject header.
