Split/Marge adjustment not working

how to adjust split and merge of PNB,SBIN AXISBANK ICICIBANK from NSE?

datafeed i am using EOD basis from yahoo.
i am new to ninja plz help ...

Thank you for your post.

To ensure that splits and dividends which you've downloaded from Yahoo are reflected in the chart:
Please open the Options menu. (Tools > Options)
In the Data tab, please check the 'Adjust for Splits' and 'Adjust for Dividends' boxes then click OK.

Please check that the split has been reflected in the Instrument.

Click Tools -> Instrument Manager...
Search for the instrument and select it -> click the Edit button
Select the Misc tab -> Scroll to the bottom
Do you see 1 split defined in the Splits value? (Or more)

Have you clicked the Update splits & dividends button?
After clicking this button you will need to reload the chart. (Right-click chart -> select Reload All Historical Data)

This split information has a date of Nov 20th, and would only affect the last bar it seems.

If you remove this, does the last bar change in price?

When was the split you are expecting?

Please add an additional split with a date of 10/31 and a factor of 10, then increase the amount of days to load (to remake the cache).

Has it been resolved ? I am facing same issue. I think it's due to the fact that yahoo india doesn't support split data https://in.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=SBIN.NS.

Can you please check as NT hangs for me when clicking 'Update splits and dividends".

I have not seen an email with a link to this forum thread yet.

But I was able to find out more information about this.

First, I can verify that the Update button is also causing NinjaTrader to crash on my end for this specific instrument. This is being addressed in NinjaTrader 8.

Second, I can verify that there does appear to be an issue with the historical data on yahoo's server from previous to 10/31 in comparison to Google.

So, using google historical data, I applied the split but had to modify the split to 11/19 instead of 11/20. This did appear to correct the data.

Attached is the data adjusted using google's data and a split of 11/19 if you would like to import this into NinjaTrader.

You can manually import historical data as per the instructions at the link below. In the section 'How to import historical data from a text file'.

this issue still exist.i upgraded the releases from previous version to the current one but still this issue exist.

Unfortunately the issue will not be fixed for NinjaTrader 7. It will be addressed in NinjaTrader 8. NinjaTrader 8 has not been released yet.
