Only One Exchange Listed

I am trying to view many normal stock charts in NT, but only the "Globex" exchange is listed, and whenever I try to view a stock I get the error "Unable to subscribe to market data: Please assign an additional exchange to this instrument..." I am using Interactive Brokers, and can view the stock charts in their platform. Why can I not see the other exchanges? Thanks.

Thanks for posting in the forum today.

This error indicates that the stock needs to be added or edited within NinjaTrader. You will need to tell NinjaTrader what exchange this instrument trades on since it is not setup by default.

Please go into the Control Center->Tools->Instrument Manager.
Either edit the existing instrument in the list or add the instrument if it is not already added.

In the exchange drop down you will want to select the exchange that IB uses by check marking it. I have included screenshots to clarify the locations of these options and information.

You will now be able to access data for this stock from IB.

Perfect. Thank you so much. Is it possible in the future to pull stock data from a person's brokerage account and have it automatically entered into NT? That would be a nice feature.

At this time, that is not possible within NinjaTrader. I will submit a feature request to our development team for consideration in future versions of NinjaTrader.
