    Market Replay - No instrument List

    Hi,

    I have a problem with market replay since last weekend, it stop working properly and does not show the instrument list neither the available data. (see attached picture). I uninstalled the application and reinstalled again, afterwards restore a two moth old backup but I still have the same problem. Can you help me to fix this? Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    If you were to download a new day of replay data via the File > Utilities > Download Replay Data menu, would that day then be shown in the available data menu shown in your screenshot?

      Kyle,

      Thanks for your prompt response. Every time that I tried to download a day for any instrument that I have on my list this is the error that I get. See the attached picture

        Please tell me which instrument and date you are attempting to download data for when the error appears.

          Kyle,

          I selected last friday 12-19, and last wednesday 12-17. It failed for each instrument that I tried.

            I need you to tell me which specific instruments you are trying to download data for. As I don't know which instruments you are attempting to download data for, it is impossible for me to further test here.

              The instruments are ES, TF, 6A, 6E, and CL.

                Which contracts of the instruments you listed are used? (example: 12-14, 03-15, ##-##, etc.)

                    Hello,

                    Thank you for clarifying.

                    NinjaTrader Market Replay data servers do not record data for continuous contracts and as a result the 'No Level 1 data' message is expected. Please use dated expires when downloading and replaying futures data.

                      Question but what happens with all the market replay data that I have that it's not shown on the available data window.?

                        Hello,

                        Based on what I see in the 'Available Data' window image which you provided at the beginning of the thread, that data does not exist on your system. If data was available on this PC, it would be shown in the Available Data window. You will therefor need to download any data which you wish to replay again.
