    Problems with Email messages or alerts from NT

    Hi ninjas,

    I have the following problem from yesterday:

    NT can't send any mail message or alert to me. The error message is supposedly cause "user not authenticated" . This has not sense at all cause I've not made any change whatsoever in the configuration set of my NT, and it has always worked flawlessly. So:
    Is there any maintenance or issue in NT platform or should I do something to fix this?

    Please, could you show me or let me know hot mail setup should be like, an example using live.com or gmail.com

      pstrusi, which email account are you using here? I suppose your own settings? It looks like the service has currently potentially a server issue authenticating you. I would retry after a reset of your network hardware / system to rule our any intermittent backbone issue here.

          Hi Bertrand!! so long time, I hope you have an excellent happy new year.

          I've used till now, live.com account, which it worked without errors, but from last night it stopped to function well. I've realized too that I've had several connection problems with my broker or adsl ( not sure ) and maybe this has lead to this problem.

          Bertrand, doing changes in order to fix this, I don't remember exactly the outgoing server when using a live.com...it was something like: smtp-outlook.com ?

            Problem solved ! I've done the configuration with the "smtp.live.com" and now is working ok. Still I don't get how till few days ago it was working with the last mail setup
