Add Strategy throws 'From' date error message

Attempting to add any strategy is resulting in the following error message being thrown (version 7.0.1000.21)

'From' date needs to be smaller than 'To' date.

Adding strategies has worked perfectly fine up until this morning, the only thing that has changed is the calendar rolling over to the new year. Everything was running fine yesterday and last night. This morning I connect to the market replay and the error is thrown, so I try connecting to the Market Simulator and add any strategy, same error, connect to my broker account / feed and same message is thrown.

Same thing here. And it's not even Y2K!!!!

1 work around would be to change your Windows date/time to 2013 again, until they are able to patch their code.

It also looks like adding directly to chart works.

I'm on 7.0.1000.14 testing this., XP 32bit

Thank you for your post.

I have tested this on my end and was able to reproduce the error as well. I have forwarded this over to our development team and will follow up as soon as I gather additional information.

In the meantime can you open a chart for the instrument you are attempting to test and run the strategy from within the chart directly as opposed to adding the strategy within the Strategies tab directly.

Adding the strategy from a chart works around the issue. Still it is not possible to add using the Strategies tab.

I'm glad to hear it is working today and applying from the chart worked. This will be resolved with the next major release of NinjaTrader.
