however, what I mean by ''remove buy and sell markers'' is that I want to erase all old markers, thus starting with a fresh unmarked chart.
I tried deleting the old chart and then creating a new chart but the ''old'' markers did not go away???
please advise

QUOTE=NinjaTrader_Paul;398361]Hello joemiller,
When you create a new chart, by default the text and Markers are shown.
What ninZa advised is correct and would need to be done on each chart where you do not wish to see the markers.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.[/QUOTE]
I do understand that ninZa and you are correct in what you say. no problem there. .
however my question is different. In the beginning I should have said I want to do the following if possible ---
''remove old buy and sell markers'' [i.e.] erase all old markers, thus starting with a fresh unmarked chart --- and then have new markers displayed only for new orders starting at the current day

Hello joemiller,
Thanks for the clarity of your reply.
For the Sim101 account, you would perform a reset by Tools>Options>Simulator -> reset (make sure that "clear history" is checked).
For your live account, you would perform a database reset, Go to Tools>Options>Data -> reset DB
Neither of these resets can be undone so you may want to perform a back-up first if the historical trade data is of interest (File>Utilities>Back-up)
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.Paul H.NinjaTrader Customer Service
