Market Replay - Chrat doesn't follow dialer date & time

Hi,

I followed the training and instruction of how to download and replay market replay data. When running the replay, the chart does not follow the date&time in the dialer, but jump to the end of the day.

I have a CQG connection.

1. Followed the Market Replay - NinjaTrader Training - 2/12/2013 training instruction, I downloaded market replay data for CL default (2-15) from 12/7/2014 and ES & default (NQ 3-15) from 12/11/2014.
2. Connected to market replay
3. Open new NQ 03-15, 5 min chart, with 24/7 time session.
4. Set the dialer to 1/8/2015 12:33 pm.

The chart still shows 1/7/2015 night.

Same issue for the other instruments.

When CQG is connected, charts works fine.

Thank you for your post.

As I test on my end, I can get the chart to show the most current date that I am playing back with these instruments and dates.


I can see a discrepancy from your two screenshots on the data that is available versus what you are attempting to play back.

The data you have is for 12/11/2014 and the data required to playback NQ 03-15 is 01/08/2015 for your screenshot.


Please re-test the market replay playback after downloading NQ 03-15 for the date of 01/08/2015.

As I understood, according to the webinar, I can download the replay market data of the entire current instrument future records, from its first rollover date. This is what I have done. Should I load each day separately?

Thanks for your reply.

To be clear, to download replay data you will need to download each day that you wish to replay. The download process is limited to one instrument one day of data per download. So in the example of the NQ, you downloaded 12/11/14, to see more than 12/11/14 you would then need to download 12/12/14, 12/15/14, 12/16/14, 12/17/14 etc.
