    Accidentally deleted 6E

I accidentally deleted the 6E in the instrument manager. Tried creating it again but after entering in all values a pop-up window says "you must set at least one 'symbol map' value." Not sure what that's referring to. Also tried going to File | Utilities | Import Stock List. Even though I was able to import the symbol 6E the instrument manager lists "type" as "Stock" not "Future". The option to change it from "Stock" to "Future" is grayed out.

All I want to do is bring the 6E instrument back into the instrument manager. How do I do this?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for your forum post.

Please troubleshoot by resetting your instruments.

When you perform an instrument reset, the following actions will occur:

    • User added instruments will not be affected.
    • Any changes you have made to the original instrument settings will be reset
    • Any changed symbol mappings will be reset including changes made for use with the Automated Trading Interface.

    • Disconnect from any data providers.
    • Control Center > Tools > Options...
    • Data tab > Reset Instruments
    • Restart NinjaTrader
