Connecting NT to IB Gateway.

Hi Ninjatrader.

As I know NT7 doesn't support the IB Gateway but apparently NT8 will.
It's however possible to connect NT7 to the IB Gateway using a trick (mentionned here and on bigmike forums) but it's not always working as expected.
Sometimes the data feeds doesn't work and sometimes my simulation accounts (Sim101 102.....) disappears.
To simply configure a working trading setup after a reboot of my server can take me between 5 mins (if lucky) to over half an hour of trying to get both the data feed and the simulation accounts showing.

I know that development has been halted on NT7 but NT8 has been in development for much longer than most of us had expected.
With no release date in sight for NT8 and since I believe it will be a very trivial functionality to port, could someone at Ninjatrader look into it?

There are no plans to support IB Gateway with NinjaTrader 7 at this time.

That's a shame considering it's has apparently been coded for NT8. (should have been relatively easy to port)
