    Continuum - New account Live

    I just open a live account with NinjaTrader Brokerage Continuum, and did the following:

    1 - Put the License Key "not free".
    2 - I setup the "Account Connection", the User Name and Password with I received for the Continuum.
    2 - In the "File \ Connection \" connected the NT Continuum
    3 - In the File Menu I disabled the "Global Simulation Mode" option

    After this, the NT continues in simulation mode. everything is done in the "SIM01" account.

    How do I enable real mode?

    Hi sasil, thanks for your post.

    To trade on your live accounts, you'll need to select your live account from the Account drop-down box anywhere you can place a trade. After doing so, trades will post successfully to your live account.

      I have precisely the same problem only the account dropdown box show sim101 which is greyed out and does not allow me to change it to anything else. I have setup the connection properly and can see my account in the account list within the control center AND I have disabled 'Always start in simulation' checkbox in the simulation options.

      What else can be done??

        Thank you for your post,

        The option is greyed out because Global Simulation Mode is enabled.

        Please navigate to Tools > License key and verify that you have your live license key entered into NinjaTrader (the Simulation key begins with @SIM).

        With the live key entered, you will be able to disable Global Simulation Mode via File > Global Simulation Mode.

        Now when you open up an order entry window you should be able to toggle between your Live account and the Sim 101 account.

          That is exactly it. I disabled global simulation mode and it solved the problem. Thank you!
