In order to install DotNet 2.0 it looks like I need to discard .NET Framework

Is this correct

Not sure what you mean by discard .NET Framework, since .NET 2.0 is .NET Framework 2.0. You can download and install the correct version with NinjaTrader at the link below.

I have .NET1.1 and 2.0 will not load over it so I image that I need to remove 1.1 before installing 2.0

This should not be a problem but you could try uninstalling .NET 1.1.

Do you recommend installing .NET 2.0 Service Pack 1? Does this get installed on top of .NET 2.0 or should 2.0 be uninstalled before installing the Service Pack 1? Thanks.

NT 6.5 requires .NET 2.0, not sure if SP1 is installed in addition or on top, having it running should be fine.
