I use my same account [email protected], which is properly configured in "Options-Misc" tab. I've realized that my email alert is down, the error message received has to do with a failure in authentication. I set a new password for my email address, which is exactly entered as well in NT, but this continues to fail the connection.
Question:
- could it be cause my new password has some symbols as part of it?
- Is there any limitation in NT for numbers and letters only?
- Will have it to do with double validation of live.com accounts?
This is my actual configuration:
SERVER: smtp.live.com
PORT: 587 SSL BOX: Checked
USER: [email protected]
PASSWORD: "mypassword"
What else could it be?
