Chart trader isn't working on live account. Sim is Ok.

    Chart trader isn't working on live account. Sim is Ok.

    Hello!

    Chart trader is working on Sim account, but isn't working on live account. Is there any option to resolve that?

    Hello quicktrick,

    Can you please make sure your live license key is entered at Control Center-->Help-->License Key.

    Connect to your live connection via Control Center-->File-->Connect.

    Subsequently uncheck 'Global Simulation Mode' at Control Center-->File.

    You will now be able to select your live account and trade it. As long as 'Global Simulation Mode' is disabled you can switch between the sim account and live account. If enabled, it will have the sim101 selected - greyed out - which cannot be changed.

      Hi Jason! Everything is alright (license, connect, mode). I can trade live flawless, but I cannot see my orders on the charts. I place the trades via ATM on SuperDOM. When on Sim, I can see them on my charts. When on live, I cannot see them on my charts. What's the matter?

        Markets are not moving

        None market moving, I have check ES, 6E, CL, GC, TF they are not moving..,,,,

          Hello quicktrick,

          Please make sure the proper account is selected in ChartTrader and the chart needs to have the same instrument selected as the SuperDOM. Subsequently you should see active orders in the chart as well.

            Hello BobyGill,

            Can you please check the items listed at the link below which can explain why charts do not receive realtime data.


            What expiry month is used. Do you receive realtime data for the ES 03-15?

            Make sure 'End date' is set to today's date in the Data Series menu of the chart as well.

            For future reference, please create a new thread the next time. Your inquiry is not related to the initial post of this thread.

                Can you please send me your log and trace files. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Attn Jason, Chart trader isn't working on live account. Sim is Ok - BobyGill' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

                  Thank you, Jason! I see, you are right. I just don't use the Chart Trader control panel. I put my trades on SuperDOM and just want to see them on the charts. Isn't there any option to automatically switch the accounts on Chart Trader when I switch them on SuperDOM? In fact I use multiple charts with Chart Trader and I even can't switch all of them physically.

                      Even on Times and Sales window the VOLUME is not showing..

                        Unfortunately this is not supported. You will need to switch accounts in each ChartTrader window.
