SetProfitTarget orders gone when disabling strategy

When my automated strategy has entered a position, for example long EURUSD 1.1350. And I have a SetProfitTarget at 1.1400. When I disable the strategy, quit Ninjatrader, restart and enable the strategy again, the Pending Orders don't re-appear.

How do I enable so that the strategy fully comes back to the prior state as before restarting? I have already tried setting the "Immediately submit live working orders" and "Sync Account Position True" but both don't make a difference.

Please help.

Hello Siroki,

When you restart the strategy does it see itself in an open position? Check the Strategy Performance for this, Right click on the strategy -> Strategy Performance -> Historical

Hello Cal,

No it does not see itself in an open position under Strategy Performance. When enable the strategy I do see the position / average price etc under the Strategies tab. When I enable "wait for flat before submitting orders" the strategy turns yellow.

But both cases do not see the strategy as in a position.

Should NT, under normal circumstances resubmit pending orders when the strategy and account positions are aligned?

I think you are getting a little bit different calculation results from the strategy when it is being enabled again from the restart and why you are seeing this cause.

I would test by adding Prints() for when your conditions are true and see where the discrepancy is coming from.
