Control Center Tab Prob

I'm using IB Paper Trade with Commissions seen.


Control Center Tab Problem:

1. Control Center Main "Execution" Tab shows Traded Commissions

2. Under Main "Account Performance"
Sub tabs - Summary, Executions, & Trades don't show Commissions.

Please help.

Hello,

Commission can be included in your PnL calculations provided you have correctly configured NinjaTrader. Commission values can be defined for each connectivity provider per instrument and per instrument type.

Commission values are used in the following order:

• From the instrument if a commission value has been defined else
• From the instrument type if a commission value has been defined else
• No value is used since none have been defined

Please follow the instructions below to define commission values per instrument type:

• From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
• Select the tab "Commission"
• Click here for details on defining a commission values

• From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Double click on the instrument you wish to add a commission value for
• Click on the "Misc" tab
• Click here for details on defining a commission values

Critical: Ensure that 'Apply commission to PnL calculations' is enabled under Tools > Options > General tab.


Keep in mind this setting will only apply to future trades and will not be applied to past trades.

Please let me know if commissions are calculated correctly after your next execution.

I've tried your suggestion & installed IB 944.3 version, but still same problem exist.

IB positions already include Commissions on IB Platform.

1. I set Commissions in NT Instrument Manager NQ $2.02 each side
2. I set Tools, Options, "Apply Comm to P&L - checked box"

IF IB Platform Breakeven is $2.02.(Just Commission),
then NT Chart Trader is at Breakeven of $4.04 (Just Commission)

NT Chart Trader will always be $2.02 difference than IB Platform.

This gives false readings in Control Center Account Performance.

To clarify are you trading a live account or the Sim101 account within NinjaTrader?

Also when you say Breakeven within IB is $2.02 then are you paying $1.01 per side per contract?

Also can you please attach a screen shot of your Commission settings within NinjaTrader so I may look into this further.
