IB Rejects Order

Trying to place an order using SuperDOM.

I use IB, when I enter the order using SuperDOM IB rejects it with the following:

"You are trying to submit an order without market data for this instrument..."

I suspect I need to do something in IB, but I'm clueless.

Are you only connecting to IB or are you connecting to another data provider also?
What version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Example: 7.0.1000.26)

What build of Traders Workstation are you using?

* To verify what version of Traders Workstation you currently have log into Traders Workstation
* Under Help go to About Traders Workstation...
* Scroll down and look for Build

Using Kinetick for live data.

NT 7.0.1000.26

For TWS, the About dialog won't stay open long enough for me to read it, but I just downloaded it the other day so I assume it's the latest version

Thanks for your reply.

I would recommend contacting IB for information on how to prevent this message. I believe you need to check bypass Order Precautions for API Orders within TWS under Edit> Global Configuration> API> Precautions however I am not positive on TWS settings

Additionally, the latest version of TWS is not supported. I would recommend ensuring you are using build 944.3
You can check your build by exiting NinjaTrader and just running TWS.
