    Missing 64-bit NT after update to .27

    Hi Ninja Support.

    After downloading and installing the .27 update, there is no 64-bit version. I have seen this before. Did the install twice. I'm on WIN 7-64 bit. How do I get this fixed?

    Thank you for your post.

    Based on the information which you provided I suspect that NinjaTrader was running during the update's installation. This can cause files to be incorrectly applied and may result in a number of issues including the one which you mentioned.


    To overcome the issue I would recommend that you partially reinstall NinjaTrader. No settings will be lost, we'll just be reinstalling NinjaTrader's application files.
    Please shut NinjaTrader down then uninstall the software through the Windows Control Panel. Do not remove the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder - this is where your settings are stored.


    After uninstalling, please reinstall using this link: Download NinjaTrader

    You should at this point have access to all shortcuts and can restart NinjaTrader.

      Thanks Kyle - that did the job.

      Had to uninstall - restart - install before I got the 64-bit version.

        I'm glad to hear that reinstalling did the trick for you.

          I have the same issue. No 64 bit and then Ninja hangs. I am doing the uninstall and trying link above to reinstall.

            Hi Ninja Support,

            I followed the instructions below and my Ninja is still not responding after this latest upgrade?

            Program crashes as soon as I click on it?

              Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.
              You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

                NT Not working

                I have windows 7 64 bit running on parallels on an imac. I'm trying to set up a new installation but NT wont come on when I click on the desk top icon. When I click the desk top icon again it says NT is already running. I then go to task manager but there is no NT running. I have NET Framework 4.5 instead of 3.5 which is correct for windows 7. I'm unable to put in the license key.

                  Please contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In the message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file.

                  You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I will need a copy of the file which is named 'trace.20150306.txt'.
