free live trading version?

I thought I ran across a mention of a free live trading version of NinjaTrader offered by some brokers the other day, albeit with some limited functionality. Aside from trading Forex through GAIN Capital I can find nothing more on the subject. Is a free live trading version offered through some brokers? I trade with MBTrading. Thanks.

Hello Alan,

Most likley, you are referring to NinjaTrader Direct. This version (license) is provided by all supported brokers that clear through Dorman using Zen-Fire. For example, Mirus Futures is such a broker.

Hi Alan,

Since you have an account with MBT Trading, you can create an account connection for them. That way you can Sim trade with their Live data. This is completely free and all features are included. The only thing you can do is submit orders in your Live account. For that a subscription is required.

I've been using the NinjaTrader simulator using a connection to MBTrading for the last two weeks. I'd still like to see an all inclusive list of the brokers providing NinjaTrader Direct. Should I go to ZenFire's site? Thanks.

what are the disadvantages using Ninjatrader Direct Version?

I see there are some fees per trade in the NT account window, is it like this that i have bigger slippage and the brokers gives this slippage to the ninjatrader vendor?

Or are the only disadvantages that I dont have OCO orders?

I would like to use the chart trader to place oco bracket orders, is this possible with the direct version or do i need the regular one for 50$/month?

Am I correct in the assumption that ATM includes OCO and any strategies as well? So that in the direct version the only thing you can do is to buy and sell--no ability at all to put in tp's and sl's, nor any ability to create script to do such for you?
