    Weird connection status

    Hello Support,

    I have this weird connection status shows up from the passed day or two. When I disconnect Rithmic, Status bar still shows it connected. When I reconnect it, it shows as the attached picture, both "Disconnected" and "Connected". Logfile shows no error. Datafeed seems Okay, because charts still update. I haven't tried order placement, don't want to risk my money. Restarting NT seems to be able to fix it.

    Any idea? TIA.

    Hello,
    Please repair your database.
    Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.
    • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
    • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    • Select the "Data" tab
    • Press the "Repair DB" button
    • Press the "OK" button

    After reparing the database please restart NinjaTrader.


    Please let me know if the matter persists.

        Hello leizhenhua,
        Thank you for your reply. To test further, I advise making sure Windows is up-to-date. To do this, go to the Start menu > All Programs > Windows Update.
        If your PC is already up-to-date , I advise performing an uninstall and reinstall of NinjaTrader.

        Note: this will not remove any saves settings or your workspaces, only the installation of NinjaTrader is removed.

        Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:

        Close all running applications.

        Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.

        From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.

        Reboot your machine.

        Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:
        www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php

        Please let me know what you experience.
