I see your point. Will add to the list for future consideration.

Thanks for the reply. So far I like NT very much and I figure there must be some solution to this problem.
IB, like many brokers, will allow you toplace orders on daytrading buying power at 4x equity. Overnight it is 2x. If you are running an automated strategy how does one keep ones account within overnight margin requirements? Using Tradestation I check GetRTOvernightBuyingPower to make sure I can place the trade without going over. How do people run automated systems with NT without getting margin calls (or in IB's case your positions randomly sold after close)?

Dwil,
1. No there is not.
2. You would need to ask your broker this question.

Buying power
1) Is there a way to access value for the amount of available buying power, overnight and daytrading, and realtime account net worth from within the ATI for a particular account? I am trying to use the DLLs from within Tradestation connecting to IB.
2) If not, when are equity orders rejected for margin accounts, when one has reached daytrading or overnight buying power limit ?
Thanks.
