Sim mode not recording trades

    Sim mode not recording trades

    If i am in sim mode and make a trade it records it properly, but when i make another trade it erases the previous one and replaces it with the new one.

    This is ongoing, so i never show more than 1 trade closed, the newest trade keeps replacing the previous one.

    ???

    Thoughts?

    Thank you for your post.
    Can you provide an example of how you are placing the trades?
    For example are you placing a buy market order and then another buy market and it is still showing you are only long one or are you placing a buy market order and then a sell market order?

      It doesn't matter how i place the trade, once it is closed it is recorded in the trade results. Then when i place another trade and close that one it erases the previous one, and this repeats so it only looks like i have placed one trade ( the last one to be closed).

        Hello,
        Are you referring to the orders being displayed in the Orders Tab of the control center or is this occurring on a chart?
        If this is occurring the orders tab of the Control Center please right click within the Orders tab then check that Filter Only Active Orders is unchecked.

          That option is unchecked.

          When i run account performance or look at the trades option it only shows the last trade that was made.

          This is being done in market replay, not sure if that matters or not.

          Here is a screen shot of the summary, and during this time period i made around 20 trades, but it only records the last one that was made.


          It also is not recording all my orders on previous trades as well.

            Hello,
            With Market Replay the Account Performance will be reset anytime that you move the replay slider, disconnect from market reply , or you use the Go To feature.
            If the account performance is being erased and you are not moving the replay slider when placing trades , disconnect from market replay or using the Go To feature please send a note to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with your log and trace files attached so I may investigate further.
            You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
            • The log file will be named "log.20150322.txt"

            You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
            • The trace file will be named "trace.20150322.txt"
