    Another market replay issue thread

    Hi NinjaTrader,
    I'm trying to download some forex ($AUDUSD) market replay data but I keep getting the error message "There is no L1 replay data available for instrument date".
    I tried this for multiple forex but I keep getting the same error which is so frustrating.
    I am even trying to download some futures market replay data and still get the same error. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    How can I solve this?
    Note: I have disconnected from all connections when trying to download the replay data.

      Hi Cody,
      2010 onwards. I've tried 2012, 2013, etc but keep getting the error.
      When I download 2014 $AUDUSD, it seems to download without the error but when I check the available data, its showing L1 begin 3/26/2015.

        Hello,
        With most instruments only 90 days worth of data is held on the replay server and available for download.
        On the replay slider what is your from and to date set to?

          Ok, I successfully downloaded a 90 day data of $AUDUSD.
          I'm setting my replay data now to 1/1/2015 but I'm not seeing anything on the charts eventhough I'm running it at 500x.

          Edit: I checked my available data date and its only showing this.

            Hello,
            If you move the replay slider to 1/2/2015 does you see data populating?
            Does the data appear if you change the session template to default 24/7?
            To retrieve 24/7 data on a chart, please follow the directions below.
            • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
            • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

              There isn't any data populating after moving the slider and changing to "Default 24/7".
              I went back and check my replay data for $AUDUSD which I just downloaded and its showing I only got data from 3/26/2015.
              I don't understand what is going on here.

                Hello,
                This indicates that only 3/26/2015 was dowloaded.
                When downloading market replay data only one day at a time can be downloaded.

                  I can't download and use a range of data (e.g: 1st Jan - 27 Mar 2015)?
                  If yes, then the market replay is built more towards day traders?

                    Thanks for your reply.

                    That is correct, you cannot download a range of Market Replay data. You can only download 1 day at a time.
