    ?

hello, i dont know if this is possible but is there a way to have a space on the daily chart that represents Saturday. I know there is no trading on Saturday and why would there be a bar but it's for the purpose of using the Gann Fan. Anyhow, it doesnt hurt to ask.

    Thanks

P.S. Ive used the 24/7 session template but that, naturally, only includes Sunday.

    Hello bdelorm,

    Thanks for your reply.

You can right click on your chart and select Properties
Under Equidistant Bar Spacing select False

        Hello,

Are you looking for a 24/6 session template that will display Monday through Saturday on your chart, but exclude Sunday? If so, there is not one pre-built into NinjaTrader, but you can always create a new one that will include the exact timeframes that you specify (Tools > Session Manager).

For more information on creating session templates, please see the link below:

Just so that I understand -- are you looking for a Sunday through Friday session template? If so, you can create one using the steps in my previous post. In your first post you mentioned that you do not want to use the 24/7 template, so I may not be understanding exactly what you are looking for.

Please let me know if I can assist further.

In that case, the "Default 24/7" session template will be the way to go. Can you please clarify what you are referring to in the quote below?

That is definitely not expected. The 24/7 session template is designed to show 24/7 data. Can you please tell me which instrument you are looking at, so that I can test on my end?

Thank you for clarifying that. As far as I know, neither the ES or the CL are open for trading on Saturdays. They open late Sunday and close late Friday, which is why there is an abbreviated amount of data for Sundays, but there will be no data available for these instruments on Saturdays.

If your data provider provided data for Saturdays, then it would appear with the 24/7 session template, but I'm quite certain that no trading occurs on Saturdays. Perhaps another user who is a futures expert can verify this for us.
