GC chart not loading 3/30

    GC chart not loading 3/30

    GC 6/15

    Tried IQ and Continuum

    I do not get 3/29-3/30 data. I get several bars (1100 tick chart).

    I tried reloading historical data. I tried shutting NT down and restarting.

    Please advise.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20150330.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20150330.txt"

      I will do this, but in the meantime are you able to get today's data?

        Hello*nepenthean,

        Yes, we have been able to receive yesterday's and today's data for the GC 06-15 from IQFeed and Continuum.

        There has not been any issues with either of these providers.*

          Was there something aberrant with trade date 3/30 for GC? I have 4k contracts traded for the RTH session. There was not a holiday.

            Hello*nepenthean,

            I see over 40,000 for the GC 06-15 on 3/30 with Continuum and the RTH template.

            Please disconnect from Continuum, reset the instruments and restart NinjaTrader.

            To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

              Resetting instruments failed to produce a dissimilar result.

              IQ told me they could see 141k for pit/electronic sessions.

              Please advise.

                When you are checking the volume for the day how are you doing so? (example: opening a daily chart and applying a VOL indicator)

                  On a daily chart the vol is right, but when review with a tick chart with the rancho dinero profile tool it is off. Those support guys always tell me to contact you guys, but NT has the data.
