Historical Data

Hi there,

I used NinjaTraderServers to download Historical Tick Data. Because of Tick-difference between NinjaTraderServers and FXCM I want to use the Tick-Data from FXCM.

No I erased all Tick-Data for EURAUD. In the FXCM ConnectionSettings I switched to FXCM Servers for Historical Data. Then I tried to download Data for the months Nov-March. After the download was finished in the Historical Data - Editor Tab. There is only Data for the last 3 days. So the 5 month I downloaded won't show up.

When I use the Data in the Strategy-Analyzer, the backtest will only be generated for the last 3 days, too.

The strange thing is, that, before I downloaded the data, I put up a chart with a historical-data-series of 3 days.

Any idea, what I should do? Do I have to erase additonal information?

Thank you for your post.

This is expected with the FXCM servers as they only contain so far back data.

The NinjaTrader servers are going to have the data further back for this.

What exactly are you looking for here?

Correct. FXCM servers only go so far back for data. NinjaTrader servers maintain a larger look back for historical data.
