Tick data

Hi there,

I have an FXCM Connection setup. Is it possible to download Tick-Data from the FXCM-Servers?
When I change Historical Data Download to NinjaTrader, is this reliable Tick Data, when I download it for a currency pair? I'm asking, because it really differs, when I compare FXCM Data with NinjaTrader Data.

Yes tick data is provided by FXCM on the FXCM servers and also on the NinjaTrader servers.
The NinjaTrader Historical Data Servers are reliable for historical data with FXCM connections.

Hi Cody,

okay, the issue is, that I can't download any FXCM Tick Data at all. When I wnat to open a 150Tick Chart, while I'm connected to FXCM (Download from FXCM Servers) then it shows a download for the timeperiod I choosed (7 Days) but it downloads forever. In the Cache bin in the Document Ninja-Trader-Folder no data will show up, the same happens in the tick folder. I'm using a fxcm demo-account.
